# What a paid environment review actually covers

A free “audit” is usually a sales call. North Ark’s environment review is paid, time-boxed, and leaves you with findings you own — whether or not you retain us.

Free audits in managed IT are usually a discovery call with a branded PDF. They exist to open a retainer conversation. They rarely produce an artefact the buyer can use with another provider, or with no provider.

North Ark’s environment review is paid on purpose. You are buying a time-boxed look at how the environment is actually managed: identity and privileged access, hybrid connectivity, backup and recovery assumptions, Microsoft cloud posture, and the backlog of work that never makes the weekly ticket list.

The output should be yours: what is fragile, what is deferred, what is fine, and a recommended first sequence. It is not a promise of 40 hours of unpaid architecture. It is not a comprehensive assurance report unless that is what we scoped.

Use a review when you suspect the current provider is out of its depth, when an internal team cannot see the estate clearly, or when a migration or security programme stalled and nobody can name the blocked decision.

Request an environment review from the contact page. If a conversation is enough, say so — we will not force a paid review onto a problem that needs a two-page email.
